Antiqua Umbra (for solo piano)

The pianist Anna Heller asked me if I'd compose a piece inspired by Gregorian chants, for her 'Echoes of the Monastery' project. How could I say no? My composition, Antiqua Umbra, is a set of variations upon the Gregorian chant known as Tantum Ergo (mode 1).
